Depois de tricotar a estrutura básica - “o esqueleto” - continuo trabalhando para a expressão final. A escultura é banhada em várias sequências para condicionar a ela volume e/ou textura. A estrutura central é encapsulada pelas camadas, que deixam sua impressão através das mesmas. No ano passado, todos os meus trabalhos foram intitulados “Entre Espaços“. Todos os meus trabalhos são esculturas espaciais e transparentes – consistindo-se em buracos e lacunas - permitindo ao espectador ver dentro e através da escultura.” ___ “I am a sculptor and my material is textile. My sculptures are hand knitted in a variety of textile material. Once I have knitted the basic structure - “the skeleton” - I keep working it over towards the final expression. I immerse it in a sequence of baths – each adding volume and/or texture to the structure. The core structure is encapuled by the layers but leaves an impression through the layers. For the past year all my works have been titled “ in between spaces “.
