Come sempre uno dei migliori festival di longboard nel vecchio continente con feste e concerti tutte le sere! quest’anno i banchi di sabbia erano meglio dell’anno passato e quindi del resto le onde sono state tutti i giorni davvero divertenti! Siamo riusciti ad svolgere anche un contest davvero figo con licre numerata heat da 30 minuti e 8 surfisti in acqua, gentleman rules! Sono riuscito a ortare a casa un prmo posto a parimerito con il mitico Mitch Surman surfer e shaper di Noosa OZ, un ragazzo davvero power con dei long molto fighi!

Il Salinas International Longboard Festival, come sempre, non delude mai, quest’anno specialmente per Matteo è andato molto bene, piazzandosi sul podio con un ottimo 3° posto assoluto, un risultato mai ottenuto da nessun italiano prima di lui. La prima giornata di contes inizia con mare grosso e incasinato, per andarsi poi a sistemare veso sera regalando onde sinistre da paura. La domanica si è svolta la finale, purtroppo il mare nella notte è sceso moltissimo, dando onde molto piccole e molli, nelle quali Matteo si sentiva come a casa.
