There was, he supposed, another aspect to his love for Lionheart --- his love for human anatomy.  Everything about Lionheart’s body Hannibal found mesmerizing, especially the slope of his neck down to his clavicle and the center of his chest.  One of these days, he swore he would rip out the blond male’s throat with his teeth in some lapse of control.

How he would love to sink his teeth in.

At the present moment, however, it was bad timing.  Hannibal stood before Lionheart wearing a clear rubber body suit to protect his clothing from blood spatter.  There wasn’t any blood on him now, but the unconscious woman laying on the floor gave away the purpose for the rubber suit.  The woman, Joyce Lucero, was dead.  Cause of death was strangulation.  It was clear this act wasn’t personal.  She had been Hannibal’s patient for quite some time, and he didn’t harbor her any ill will, but this was a sort of mercy killing.  In his mind, he was putting her out of her suffering because he didn’t believe that there was any possibility for her to recover from her mental conditions.  That combined with the fact that she would have delicious, lean, healthy meat.  She had always told him about her healthy, all organic, vegan, diet and her strict cardio workout routine.  Irresistible.  Aside from psychologically, she was in perfect physical health --- she didn’t smoke, drink, or take any medication.

Though Hannibal was exposing his other side to Lionheart, he felt no apprehension or anything aside from hunger, and perhaps a bit of lust.  His face remained mostly expressionless aside from a glint of mischief in his dark colored eyes and he behaved rather nonchalant about the whole situation.  Hannibal wasn’t really worried about Lionheart running to tell the police, or even choosing to step away from their relationship.  If that was the case, of course Hannibal would regretfully have to kill Lionheart as well, but somehting told him that the male wouldn’t much care.  Lionheart too had some dark, malicious, side to him and perhaps that was the reason for Hannibal’s interest in him to begin with.

A half smile presented itself on Hannibal’s lips for a brief moment --- just long enough for one to question whether or not it had actually been there.  Jack was quite intelligent and emotionally developed for his age, likely due to the emotional trauma of his mother being murdered as well as intelligence being something that is at least partially genetic.  Hannibal thought that Jack would make a great FBI agent once he got past his emotional hurdles, or if he ever did.  Perhaps the documented suicide attempt would hold him back, however, and he would be categorized as unstable.  

It was likely however Hannibal didn’t mention it.  When he spoke, his tone was cool and thoughtful, not malicious, but lacking the warmth it typically had.  The soft light illuminated his sharp facial features in a way that made him look more like a demon with red eyes staring at the boy from across the room instead of a neatly dressed man sitting in a chair.
