Side note- I was planning on having them be infected in part III, but I'm thinking I'mma change that to somewhere around mid part II. My original reasoning is that they'd wait until stuff died down a bit, because they are aware the parasite could incapacitate them.

But Hange Almost-Got-Eaten-By-Their-Own-Captive-Titans-Five-Times-This-Week Zoe wouldn't fuckin' wait for an 'opportune' time. As soon as they realize that the parasite turns humans into titans they'd gobble that worm up like spaghetti.

Preventing regeneration is a very high level skill in my AU, and in some cases it is straight up impossible. Erwin does NOT have that sort of control over his parasite, he would rapidly regenerate right there on the spot.
