Okay, after a couple hours of gameplay I’m kinda torn: on one side infants are pretty cute, especially with cc and mods; on the other side, they are high maintanance and boring. I don’t have Growing Together yet (I definitely don’t want to buy it full price), so infants for basegame are definitely lacking. They cry all the time, they can interact with very few objects and even the interactions with parents and relatives are very limited. Furthermore, Ashley’s mother didn’t have a life anymore for the entirety of the 5 days in which Ashley was an infant. She didn’t have time to sleep, develop skills, doing stuff around the house, meeting new sims, going out... which, I get it, it’s pretty similar to real life, but it sucks out the joy of playing with infants for these many days, since they can’t develop any skill. I’ll probably age them up after a couple of days, because 5 is self-destructive. It’s a bummer, to be honest. They are cute, tho’, I guess. PS: Feeding them with bottles leave all the bottles around the house, and there is no interactions with them, not even “wash” or “clean” as for plates and glasses. You can only drag the bottles to the nearest bin. And of course, since the basegame has no changing table included in the update, the room will be full of dirty diapers, even if you include a bin in it. They just won’t go there automatically.
