Images from today's nomination day gathering. USE gathered to show support for our Trustee Mdm Halimah Yacob before she was announced as the Republic's first Female President-Elect. It was an excellent opportunity to bond with our own leaders and interact with our brothers and sisters from other unions. The 2.5hr stand in the sun was hardly felt. Long overdue pictures from USE's Staff Teambuilding. We went on a nature trail of sorts, learned to make some supposedly healthy Mayo, played many games and even wrote a meBox for one another. The highlight was the prawning where our catches were grilled and served to us. My first prawning experience. Had the privilege of hosting our trustee Mdm Halimah Yacob yesterday at our Union Office for an informal chat session with our Union Leaders. Such a warm, personable and down-to-earth lady. Was glad to have interacted with her and do a presentation for her on the Union's background and achievements.
