#inductive bible study

There are solid study bibles I own (which I will still continue to use) that have incorrect commentaries and footnotes. If you read these notes before reading the passage, you're letting man interpret the word of God for you...despite the fact that God has given all of us tools to understand His word for ourselves, in its proper context and meaning.

People are infalliable and get things wrong sometimes. We have to understand God's word for ourselves. And it brings us closer to our Father when we learn these truths about Him.

The more I read and understand, the more God gives me to worship Him! Thank you, Jesus. And forgive me for having Your word at my fingertips for so long and not taking advantage of that fact! 🩷🙏 God is so good to us and wants us to read because He loves us, not because it's an obligation

Helpful to get a clear picture of the letter and key points. We can directly contrast the characteristics of the believer with the unbeliever, and use it as a reference point for our transformation prayers.

God recently brought me out of a pretty bad season where I was struggling to read. The inductive method was one I learnt a few years ago and it's a really good way to immerse yourself in scripture because it gives you a clear guide of how to approach. Even if the last thing you want to do is read, having keys and a marking sheet makes it feel less daunting. ^^ Here's a tiny peep into one of the sections of the study session
