I just wanted to say thank you for your positivity and for helping to remind me why I love this show. I've recently decided to become more involved in the fandom by learning photoshop, but then the finale happened. I almost walked away, but I decided not to let this thing I love be taken from me and its motivated me to start my 1st fic.
Im happy you didnt leave. I learn photoshop, wrote a book, found friends, found dearest people to my heart, cosplayed, started to draw, became a better person because of that show
I didnt want to leave it and yet not acknowledged how hurt I was. My therapist told me we should work on a way to get that anger and hurt and put it toward something good. This is why I am trying to be positive, support project like @thankqforthehope, reblogged the upcoming @thewelterschallenge things, finished my @themagiciansreccenter 39 grave fic (Im project 30!), started the second version of the dnd book.Â
We hurt because we love the show and I refuse to leave it. Fillory, Brakebills, This Fandom. It’s my home. And I will defend it with all I have. I might not have Margo’s snark or Julia’s intelligence to do so, but I hope I have Fen’s love and compassion to let those who need to scream be heard while those who need to move on to do so.Â
