There are people who might think that the act of Mayor Duterte was bad, but if you're a davaoeno, you will feel proud and happy. Even if the government will decide to oust inday sara! Still the davaoenos will vote for her again and again, even to the extent building a new separate federal state! Just to be mobilized, create a peaceful and fair governance to the davao society.. The dutertes are the progress makers of davao, without them davao will still be called as the no mans island. But i have a question- if youre a lawfully abiding citizen, would u like to live in a place where criminals can just roam around the city and government officials utilizing corruption or rather settle to a place where u can sleep soundly at night and celebrating new year without worrying that a stray bullet might hit u. Ika nga nila- kung pusher, addict or user ka,never live in davao or else ggsing ka na lng wala ka ng kaliwang tenga. :) Seeing davao as governed by the dutertes is such a great honor. putting a larger perspective by making it happen nationwide is just a wishful thinking..
IMHO, the filipino society today is jaded with the thoughts of fixing any major problem with ways dictated by a heroic manner that cannot be blamed by our history but let us open our eyes. How many revolts does it take to change our nation? isnt it intriguing how a single mayor can make a city be one and harness it's potential without doing corruption at the same time? Generation by generation - ways of evil deeds also change, modify or if may i say upgrade. felons are more intellectual these days. Public leaders should stand strong and fortify their platform in governance or else they will just be thrown away in the puddle of corruption.
