that makes much more sense . it’d looked too realistic to be some kind of fake effect . now that he’s much closer he can see it clearly — his assumption had been incorrect ; perhaps the jokes he’d strewn the other’s way may be taken in bad humor . ( oops . should’ve kept his big mouth shut . too late for regrets . ) despite the ruckus such a thing could cause he remains unaffected , raises a gloved hand as if to touch at wrinkled skin — only to reel it back as soon as he’d started .
