TSUMS WORTH LEVELING UP FOR HIGHER SCORES
Hey everyone!! Sorry for taking so long to make this post!! (haha now that there's like a day left on the event D:) But this info will be helpful for getting high scores in general, not just for the event, so hopefully it'll come in handy in the future, too! :D Also, I apologize for the crappy graphic I just threw together. haha sigh. So, just to review, there are two types of levels that a tsum has, its Skil level (the meter on the right) and the Point/Score level on the left. Skill levels are increased when you get duplicate tsums upon buying boxes, while Point/Score levels are increased when you clear those tsums in games (either by choosing it as My Tsum or by getting them as the random support tsums in the game). This particular post is focusing on Point/Score levels. (quick summary of how a tsum’s score affects your total score: whatever its score value is is how much 1 tsum is worth, then depending on the amount you clear via a chain or burst, that amount is multiplied by the quantity of tsums you cleared and then additional bonuses are added, depending on the quantity cleared.) As you're probably well aware if you've played the game for awhile, every 5 point level (just gonna leave out the "score" for brevity sake--it's the same diff, really, haha), a lock will appear, and you need to pay a certain amount of coins to unlock the next 5 levels, or else any gameplay with that particular tsum will not count towards further leveling it up. Many people have asked me whether it's worth it to pay to unlock tsums' point level or not, and in the past I've mentioned that "it depends" (see my previous posts here). It depends on: - If a high score is an objective of yours, or if coins are your main concern (if coins are your focus, then you don't need to worry about high scores AS MUCH, but getting the weekly high score bonus is great for getting lots of coins!) - If it's a tsum you use a lot and/or is one that shows up in your games a lot, then it's beneficial to unlock them because you're using them all the time so it's a wasted opportunity otherwise! - Finally (and the point of this post), if it's a tsum that has a very high point level maximum, then it's also wise to keep unlocking it, as they'll eventually be very helpful to getting a higher score (even if their skill sucks, they're helpful for being a random support tsum). Prior, I just referred people to look them up on assorted tsum reference websites, but I figured a list would be helpful for you guys (haha and for myself so I can remember who to unlock in the future) so, here are all the tsums whose point levels exceed 1000 points (for reference, point level maximums range from 344--many of the Happiness Box tsums cap out at that much, to 1815!! as seen below. hehe Premium box tsums have a point level maximums ranging from around 800 to 1200, with a few reaching past 1500 points! :O) So anyway, sorry for the long intro!!

As I briefly mentioned, I'm sure it's no surprise none of the Happiness Box tsums ever reach a point level score over 1000 points, the only one who comes close is: Donald -- 795. So, just FYI if you were wondering. There are plenty of tsums who reach 900-something points with their score level, so if they're ones that frequently show up in your games and/or you play with, those might also still be worth leveling up. But this list is just for purposes of showing you which tsums have high to SUPER CRAZY HIGH point level scores, in case you didn't know and were missing out on leveling them up to be worth a lot!! You can see all the tsums' point levels amounts at Tsum Tsum Central or the Tsum Tsum Wiki (though Tsum Tsum Central's layout is better for checking score amount because it lists all the tsums point ranges on one page.)
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions!! :)
