Fic alert! It's a bunch of projecting probably, but it now has 4 whole chapters. Im a little embarrassed by it but I am embarrassed by everything so yeah.
Its a ghostbusters fic. It's very trans. That's all I've had to tell most so I don't have more prepared. Uh. Okay.

[beginning scene, possibly the very start, or maybe a few paragraphs after the start]
âProfessor Nim, if anything is possible with magic, what about soulmates?â
âSoulmates⌠those donât exist.â The professor was quick to shut down Changbinâs question - the excitement draining from his face.Â
âBut I heard-â
âWhat you âheardâ was a story, Mr. Seo. Fantasy. Fiction. An idea made up from someoneâs delusional thinking. I will have none of that talk in my class.â The answer was final and Changbin didnât dare argue with their history professor. He was older, wiser and certified to teach the history of magic - of course he would know if soulmates existed or not. Felix had been optimistic when he told Changbin the story, but Mr. Nim had been certain. So clearly he was the person in the right, the one to be believed. So why did Changbin feel like he was being lied to? Maybe it was in the way Mr. Nim had shut him down so quickly. Or was it the flicker of fear that flashed in his eyes for one brief moment - so quick that Changbin would have missed it if he blinked? Whatever the reason, his gut was telling him something wasnât right and he had learned many years ago to trust his gut.Â
[middle to late scene, somewhere]
*Flashback*
âYouâre crazy.â His sister snapped finally, pausing in her packing. Setting her keys down on the table, she stared at her brother, his face hardened with a determination he only could have inherited from their mother. âChangbin, the world isnât as black and white as you think it is.â she started. âTo go off and start learning magic now, after what happened.â
âMagic didnât kill them though.â Changbin grunted, crossing his arms over his chest.Â
âIt didnât save them either.â She retorted and almost instantly regretted her words at the sight of how heartbroken and defeated her brother appeared. Closing the distance between them, she pulled him into a hug, bearing his near entire weight as he clung to her. âDoing this wonât bring them back. At least right now, we have some peace.â
âI know it wonât butâŚsomething is telling me to do this. That this is the correct step forward.â he whispered.
She was silent for a moment, thinking over his words and the implications behind them. So much could go wrong, but so much could go right. Changbin was an adult now and while she appreciated him telling her his goals and desires, he didnât have to. He could make his own decisions and she had a feeling he already had. That this whole conversation was only taking place because he wanted her approval, not that he needed it.
She understood.
âAlways follow your gut. Itâll never steer you wrong.â
Those had been her last words to him. The approval from his last living relative had meant everything to Changbin and it turned out to be the only thing he had left to remember her by. The accident had happened an hour later and Changbin always blamed himself for it. If he hadnât chosen that moment to confront her about wanting to attend magic school, or hadnât pushed to get her to approve, she would have left on time rather than be running late. She wouldnât have been at the intersection when the truck ran the red light. She wouldnât be gone. It was all his fault and pain and guilt haunted him everyday.
[so this is true middle scene, fun times!]
âThis is it.â Felix whispered, the tome resting delicately in his hands. It was leather bound - genuine no doubt - dyed a gorgeous royal purple. Embossed in gold was the Celestial crest - a crescent moon surrounded by stars overlaid on top of the triquetra, which represented the three founding figures of the Magical Institute of Academia (MIA for short). It was perfectly centered, stunningly gorgeous.Â
âHow do you know this is the book?â Seungmin questioned as he snatched the tome from Felixâs grasp and looked it over. While beautiful bound - the pages even had golden gilded edges - it appeared to be nothing special. In fact, it looked like one of the many other books in the headmasterâs office.
âBecause the headmaster nearly had a heart attack when I discovered it in the library at the start of the semester.â Felix explained. âHe took it and wouldnât exactly say why I couldnât read it, just that it wasnât âappropriateâ.â he mocked as he rolled his eyes.
âSo, what youâre saying is that you donât know if it contains information about soulmates then.â Changbin deadpanned. He had put so much faith in Felix and combined with Mr. Nimâs reaction the other day, he was sure this book held the contents of his curiosity.
âWell, I mean, it holds something secretive in it.âÂ
Apparently his faith had been misplaced.
âFor all we know itâs just the book he hides his alcohol in.â Seungmin scoffed, passing the book to Changbin, who eagerly took it. For how thick it was, it didnât really weigh much, lending credence to Seungminâs suggestion. Maybe it really was hollowed out in the center. Before he could even check, their secret gathering was interrupted by the sudden sound of keys jingling.Â
âOh shit!â
âHide!âÂ
As if they needed to be told twice. The three scattered, searching for cover and barely concealing themselves in time for the door to be opened. The light in the room was turned on, but nothing else followed. No footsteps or soft breathing - anything to indicate another person had entered the room. Time seemed to have stood still and the three waited with baited breaths. No sooner had the lights turned on where they turned back off and the door was locked again. This time the footsteps were audible, slowly fading as the person walked away. Another minute went by, just to make sure the coast was clear before the three crawled out from their places.
âThat was close.â
âIâll say. Good job Felix, almost got us caught.â Seungmin scolded lightly. In retaliation, Felix swatted at him.
âShut up. How was I supposed to know someone might come around?â
âYou could have.â Changbin defended.
âThank you hyung! See? At least Changbin hyung likes me!â Felix and Seungmin started their usual childish banter of who was right and wrong, which on a normal day would have been funny, but it wasnât the least bit amusing at the moment.
âAlright, stop you two. Letâs get out of here before that person comes back.â A brilliant idea and one the two quickly agreed upon. As they snuck their way out, Changbin had half a mind to leave the book there, but thought better of it. After all, if the headmaster didnât trust Felix of all people to read the text inside, then it must be something worth investigating.Â
They managed to sneak back to their dorms without incident and Changbin hid the book under his pillow to read through later.
Hereâs a random brain vomit at did at sometime around uhhhh 2 a.m.?
Should i continue this?
I even came up with a title lol
The Secret admirer
Your attraction towards your captain was abnormal.
No. It couldnât be classified as a crush, it was something far more than that. You were obsessed with your captain to the point where you would boil of jealousy whenever he playfully flirted with random women on the streets.
You loved everything about him. His laugh, his face, his scars, everything. How he wears that one loose white shirt not bothering to cover up his chiseled chest. How his lips get so wet when he downs a mug of beer. How his hand grips anything with such force that you wanted you to be that very thing. How he sticks out his big tongue when he makes fun of someone. You had memorized his smell so perfectly that you would recognize him with ease even if he is mixed among a 1000 men. You loved watching him, every single detail about him drives you crazy.
Oh but you didnât let anyone know about your feelings towards the red-haired emperor. You would keep your feelings to yourself and admire him from afar. You had already made up your mind that he would reject you or even kick you out of the crew. Yeah you didnât want to take that risk whatsoever.
One day, you and your crew stopped by a vacant island and were enjoying the rest time. And out of nowhere a bunch of really strong pirates tried messing with your crew. Your captain was completely chill about it and didnât heed their disrespect. You were ticked off by their mere existence but when you saw that your captain wasnât phased by their bullshit you decided to do nothing. While all of you thought they would just bark and walk away eventually, they crossed the line by beating up one of your crew members. He was new, innocent and had a long way to go for getting stronger. Your head was washed by anger and you attempted to rush towards those hooligans like a fucking bull, but Shanks had blocked your path by raising his hand in front of you. Your chest collided with his large arm and he looked at you with a gentle smile and said,
âI got this.â
You saw him deal with those pirates in less than 5 minutes. But seeing your captain in action for the first time had riled you up so badly that you lost it. That same night, you were taking a bath, and the thoughts of your captain were all over your head and you couldnât help but touch yourself in the bathtub. Your nipples were hard from the cold air you thought that came from the ventilator window, but little did you know you forgot to lock the damn door of the bathroom.
Shanks intended to take a bath too but before he barged into the bathroom he saw steam coming out of the slight opening from the door. His entire crew were either gorging food in the dining hall or they passed out at random places of the ship. Except you, you were missing ever since the ship sailed and left the island. He realized it could only mean that you were inside the bathroom and common sense would make him walk away but⌠his pervert-self took over his brain and he wanted to get just one look at your naked body.
So I was cleaning out my work computer this week (in case I get axed by The big Cheeto and his puppet master), and I found this Ty & Zane drabble I started years ago.
Pen pals
4th grade
âAlright class, get out your paper and pencils. Weâve got a new project to work on today!â
Tyler obediently did as the teacher asked, hoping the new project would be something way cool like drawing dinosaurs. He fidgeted a little while the slower kids in the class took too long to get ready.
âThank you, class. You all are great at following directions!â Ms. Clancy praised them. Ty nodded his head. Yep, he was good at following directions. His daddy made sure he did. âA good Marine always follows orders!â
âNow, my best friend in college is also a teacher. She went to Texas after college to teach there. And she and I decided to collaborate on an assignment together.â She paused to deal with hands that shot
up in the air.
âWhat does âcollbrateâ mean, Ms. Clancy?â âColl-AB-or-ate, Kelly,â she enunciated slowly and clearly. âIt means to work together. My friend, Ms. Lassiter, teaches 4th graders too. So we decided that weâd have our two classes be pen pals together for the rest of the school year.â
The next flurry of hands waved in the air.
âPen pals are friends who write letters to each other,â she plowed on. âYouâll each get paired up with a boy or girl that youâll send letters and cards to. You can tell them about yourself, and he or she will
answer and tell you about themselves. That way, you can learn about them and what itâs like to grow up in Texas, and theyâll learn about you and what itâs like to grow up in West Virginia.â
She passed out names on construction paper. Tyâs eyes widen when he got his pen palâs name. âZane Garrett.â He poked his neighbor to get his attention and waved the paper in his face. âLook at my
name! It starts with a Z! Thatâs so cool! I didnât know there were names that started with the letter Z! What name did you get?â
The boys and girls in the class chattered as they tried to pronounce their pen palsâ names. Ms. Clancy gave them a few minutes to settle down as she wrote some sentences on the chalk board.
âOkay, class. Letters have parts to them â a beginning, a middle and an end. The beginning of the letter is the greeting. So everyone at the top of the page on the left, I want you to write the word âHello,â
followed by a comma.â She waited until everyone had that part down.
âSince this our first letter to our new pen pals, we want to introduce ourselves. This will be our middle section of the letter. Iâve written some sentences on the board that you can use in your letter if you
canât think of any of your own. Everyone needs to write down five sentences in your letter. You can tell them your name, what your favorite color is, what you like to do for fun, what your favorite movie or book is. You can tell them anything you can think of, but you need to write five sentences, okay?â There was some groaning at that. Five sentences was a LOT.
âAfter youâre done with your sentences, the end part is the farewell. Youâll sign your name at the bottom of the letter, okay? Then Iâll collect them all and mail them all together to Ms. Lassiter. Once
she gets them and hands them out, her students will write back to you. Okay? So letâs get started! If you need help spelling a word, just raise your hand quietly and Iâll come give you a hand.â
I can barely remember where this was going to go. I think a few scenes of letters through the years. Then video chats. Finally they end up going to space camp or something together, (that one time at space camp) around the age of 15, get all blushy and giggly and shy for each other. Go to each other's proms, then go to college together, then fade to black?

summary:Â Â Yoo Joonghyuk dies again, which is to be expected. He doesn't expect anything about the world where he wakes up: no scenarios, no Star Stream, no apocalypse? Something is definitely very wrong. Infuriatingly, the only clue he has is the person he woke up in the subway carriage with: a man who looks like Kim Dokja, acts like Kim Dokja, but who knows nothing about Yoo Joonghyuk or where he comes from. Just how many people is he going to have to threaten to murder to get answers around here?
note: hello, hi, yes, just wanted to share that I have started working on a fic for a new fandom that i'm obsessed with--and well, yes! we'll see how it goes???? i'm having a lot of fun right now. and currently seeking a beta.
As he kicks open the front door with a dramatic slam and a wide smile on his face, shouting, âHoney, Iâm home!â to absolutely no one, Kokichi comes to this realization.
And he lets the smile drop into neutral.
Thereâs no show to perform for anyone. Heâs truly and utterly alone.
~ hluhs, "Healing is a Made-Up Concept for people that are Decidedly Not Kokichi Oma"
Hluhs is a relatively new talent in the Saiouma AO3 tag, and this fic especially caught our attention. Not only does it tackle the usual postgame themes of trauma and recovery, but it addresses the underappreciated detail that each of the Danganronpa characters was created specifically for the killing game, and many of them cannot thrive in any other setting.
Thereâs also a wonderfully-executed parallel between Kokichi and a stray cat that doesnât seem to want to leave him alone. Neither of them will survive this harsh world without an ally, but both are too stubborn to accept the help thatâs offered to them. This fic has a lot of potential and we canât wait to see where it goes.

Iâm not entirely sure how large the market for Jonelias fanfiction is at the moment- however I am working on a few brisk one shots soon to be posted on Ao3. Iâm fairly new to Tumblr but I thought Iâd post a brief snippet of my work in case it manages to reach a wider audience!!

The shabby door of Jonâs office (if the poorly refurbished remnants of Gertrudeâs leftover furniture could even be considered anything remotely adjacent to an âofficeâ) opened suddenly.
Suddenly- but not at all harshly⌠if anything, it was handled with a surprising amount of care compared to what The Archivist was acclimated to. It wasnât Martinâs joyful barging in with a cup of tea or Timâs reckless intrusion with misfiled statements. It was novel and for some nameless reason, mildly frightening.
âElias.â Jon eventually stated after a few painfully awkward moments of silence, with a barely present note of surprise carrying itself weakly through his voice. The acknowledgment could hardly be termed a greeting. âTo what do I owe the pleasure?â he followed up, sarcasm palatable in his tone. Jon reflexively began scolding himself for his lack of professionalism but as he lowered the recorder placing it on the chipped wooden desk, he realised he couldnât find it within himself to genuinely care.
The older man leaned against a filing cabinet with a positively filthy smirk as his piercing eyes scanned Jonâs frame. To the untrained observer his expression would perhaps signify civility, charm and refinement but The Archivist knew that look all too well as to be so naive to assume it boded anything other than trouble. It made him feel bare, splayed naked before something he couldnât even hope to challenge. Returning the favour, he let his own gaze loose, drinking in the portrait before him.
Elias rarely looked anything short of picture perfect.
His cotton shirts were always starched and ironed to the standards of 60s business fashion magazines, his trousers were always sharply creased in parallel by the undoubtedly skilled hands of dry cleaning clerks, his embezzled tie clip never needed any adjusting, his ever-so-slightly heeled Oxfords never needed any polishing and his gracefully greying style never needed re-touching at any point in the day. He looked entirely too expensive to be standing amongst the filth of Jonâs office, he looked entirely too expensive for Jon to be able to afford.
However The Archivist would be lying if he tried to convince himself he didnât find his superior attractive, if only to a minute degree. He did however dare to advise himself it was simply because extreme care for hygiene and aesthetics quite often equated to physical attraction in most.
âSimply paying visits to my employees.â Elias finally broke the stalling silence, seemingly deciding he was done undressing the exhausted man before him with his eyes, his voice smooth and not too unlike a well made roast drank on a gloomy Sunday morning.
Jon had the curtsy to turn his dingy office chair away from the confines of his desk, now fully facing his tailored employer.
This was redundant.
If there ever was a living manifestation of âTime is Moneyâ that creature would be positioned right before him. Elias Bouchard didnât stall, he didnât waste his breath on frilly dialogue decorations, he pounced straight to the point and made his wishes abundantly clear⌠if he wasnât out for amusement that would breach far beyond appropriate for a boss and subordinate relationship, that is.
Jon saw straight through his veiled bullshit, of course he did, and he was pretty sure Elias saw through his own bullshit too. The Archivist leaned back and with one swift move got rid of his glasses, placing them gingerly on the deskâs surface, folded.
âDonât pretend to be coy, it suits you terriblyâŚâ he spat.
