Really, the only way to get a lot of attention on Tumblr is to have a huge queue/regular updates? Have you given previews for your stories? Because that might help. (Flails about, trying to offer assistance.)
Heh, thanks for the advice. Honestly, I draw more than I write (Thorns is the first thing I've written in over a year), and I tend to leave a lot of things unfinished. The things I do finish often take me several days to do, so even at my most productive, I can only manage a few posts a week unless I'm doing more WIP shots or quick sketches. It was a little better when I had time to stream several times a week, but even streams have become a bit lonely (although I know some people would come if they could).
Maybe I should start posting excerpts and WIPs more often, just to have something going on. It's not that I don't have any followers, more like I'm not sure what they like to see (aside from Spiral Knights art, since a lot of them are players, and those pieces get a few more responses, but I've gotten a bit tired of drawing knights) and nobody answers when I ask. XD

It’s ridiculously hard to drum up attention for anything that isn’t fanart, and even with that it’s hit/miss. Sorry I’m not great at giving feedback, I just don’t really know how to do the thing. I do like your work, though, hence following. c:
Aw, thanks hon. I don't expect everyone to respond to everything. I just don't know any other way to advertise commissions (which I'm going to really need soon due to irl issues ...) or anything like that. I'm a bit fail with social media and self-marketing, I'm afraid. ^^;
