Not for reblog. My BIL, who we live with, has a nasty habit of putting things ON THE STOVE and then walking away. Usually to his bedroom (on the opposite end of the house), once he actually left the house to take his dog to the dog park. He only occasionally sets alarms - on the microwave, which he can’t hear from his bedroom, and he regularly ignores even when he CAN hear it. This is DANGEROUS FFS and yet he can’t stand to stay in the damn kitchen for five fucking minutes while his food cooks. We’ve taken to shutting off the burner when he leaves it on and walks away, so far it’s done nothing.
#AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#I AM NOT UNREASONABLE TO WANT THE STOVE USED IN A FASHION THAT IS NOT LIKELY TO RESULT IN THE HOUSE BURNING DOWN#and that's not even touching the thing where he doesn't carry his keys and therefore leaves the door unlocked all the time#including overnight#one time I locked the FRONT DOOR when I went to bed at like 10-11PM#and a half hour after I've gotten into bed he's banging on my window to be let in#carry your fucking keys dammit#I get forgetting them sometimes#but he just never carries them#TO talking#to delete
