Inappy (いなッピー) from Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture; and Mukōjima Kototoinee-san (向嶋言問姐さん) from Mukōjima, Sumida ward, Tokyo.
Inappy’s hair is made of ashitaba leaves, his body is a ginkgo tree, and he wears a headband (hachimaki) and loincloth (fundoshi) like those worn at Inazawa’s Kōnomiya Hadaka Matsuri (Naked Festival).
Kototoinee-san is a cat in elegant Edo-era dress.
