A little overwhelmed and been wanting to ramble about my memory-ish-things (I'll call them memories for ease's sake):
I don't remember all of my sisters yet. I don't think I will remember all of them before the Bloom. I remember three. And a herald. My herald. And companion.
Blossom is like a hummingbird. Always active, always busy. Zipping around, paying attention to all the twenty things breaking. She takes care of some of the more fragile universes, so her occasional overbearing-ness is a necessity. She can come across as a helicopter parent at times, always fussing over her cluster, shooing out our more reckless siblings (looking at you Drama)(and me, I am guilty of this as well), but one look at the fragile state her cluster is in at all times will tell you enough. She's not doing anything wrong. Such is simply the nature of the universes she collects.
Drama feels younger. Not young, none of us are. Ageless beings cannot be young or old. But she occupies less of my memory, while I feel like we hung out semi-frequently. She's energetic, and easily bored. The universes she takes care of must entertain her, and remain entertaining for long whiles, or she might abandon them. As a result, the universes she tends over are chaotic, and prone to harming themselves or each other. Her cluster is in need of constant surveillance, and in the few cases she does leave, one of us has to watch over the cluster. Not an easy task, but one I happily do.
Archivist feels like a steady presence. Not older, but longer, and *always*. He keeps his cluster like a library. Neat, tidy, organized, although we have tried and repeatedly failed to fully decipher his methods. I suppose that's why *he* keeps the library, and not one of us. He keeps calmer universes, those that can mostly tend to themselves, and as a result, tends over *millions* of distinct worlds. Any timeline is infinitely fraying, of course, but holding a thousand strands of time neatly braided together, vs holding a thousand of tHose braids, are two very different things. He collects the most, but is also choosy on what does and doesn't make it into the library. The library is after all for us to find our way around, as the multiverse resets every Rest, and it can take us long whiles to find the world we're looking for if we don't have a starting point. All but pinpricks in endless life of course, but the ease is much appreciated.
And my dearest herald and companion, Hera. Not a Guardian, not endless like us. But close. Very close. Mortal turned immortal, infinite evolved timeless. I love her very dearly, and I cannot wait until I find her again. When the Bloom starts, she won't unfold with us. She will scatter with the multiverse, and I don't know where she'll end up. But I'll find her. I promised. And I keep my promises. I have found her a thousand times before. I will find her a thousand times again.
