cutting the dumb title song and making idnyl the finale then going straight into the megasix 🙈 jk that’s just a secret desire of mine, not to be a costume stan on main but the craziest change they could make would be making the alts wear the principal costumes, it would fundamentally shatter the energy of the show. there have already been huge crazy changes up to this point with like the fake competition thing so I guess the craziest change is something we probably can’t even imagine. oh I thought of a good one, scaling down the choreography to make it easier on the queens bc they refuse to make the covers actual alternates would be earth shattering as well

aaaaaa the costumes are one of my favorite things about the whole show, I love that they’re kind of tacky flashy eyesores for literally no reason other than being fun, and I love of course that the alts have their own unique costumes!! that’s SO special and with the way they treat their alts i’m glad they at least get that recognition. My fav costumes are principal Aragon and the dance captain costume!! I also love how the costumes for Aragon and Cleves, especially Aragon are clearly designed to flatter brown skin and black women’s natural hair!!!!! you can tell they were created with women of color in mind specifically and that’s so unusual in theatre, the six costume designers made it very clear that woc are not secondary in this show. i do think blue/teal alt is a little too visually similar to parr’s costume and i wish it had a little more originality, especially Nicole’s is basically the same as Anna’s but with different shoulders and a slightly greener color. it would also be nice to see more costumes that aren’t designed for very thin women then just fit onto actresses with other body types, costumes with elements specifically designed to flatter curvier bodies, broader shoulders, thicker body shapes, etc would be really amazing to see and a great way to send the message that women aren’t sidelined because of their body type in this show
