With its bright bell peppers and onions, this braided chicken dish is not only beautiful to look at but also very tasty. It's great for a fancy dinner or any other time you want to wow your guests with both taste and presentation.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 small red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and mix them together. Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and cut each one in half across the middle, leaving one end attached. Make sure to cover both sides of each chicken breast with the seasoned olive oil mixture. Put a different color of sliced bell pepper and onion on top of each chicken breast. Carefully braid the chicken breasts, and if you need to, use toothpicks to hold the ends together. Put the chicken that has been braided in a baking dish and top it with chopped parsley. Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is done and the vegetables are soft. After taking it out of the oven, let it cool down for a few minutes. If you want, add more parsley as a garnish. Enjoy!
