#impossible demands

All I want is an anime with an original plot and intelligent humor, that uses nuance in approaching social and political issues, and respects it's cast enough to treat them as characters and not a collection of waifus and husbandos, but still carries human relationships to finality while not playing he-said-she-said games to play up drama, and it'll last for many episodes, but it won't wear out it's welcome and come to a satisfying conclusion that's touching but, in a way, bittersweet.

I’m getting a new spirit companion. He should be here “soon”. I’ve felt his energy at least once and boy is it strong. Even stronger than my Autumn Dragon and I always know when she’s around.

We haven’t even met yet and he’s already making impossible demands for a new vessel. He described a ram skull made of ‘porcelain wood’ with extra horns dangling down. 

to fuck you; to feel you; to feel anything. I want to trace the curve of your spine; to kiss the nape of your neck; to watch the worry melt from your face.

I want to see you smile; to make you laugh; to make the light in your eyes dance.

I want to pick your brain; to talk to you about the world as though we know anything about it; to learn from you.

I want to skip the games; to drop any pretense; to ignore the rules.
