hi everyone! iām so excited to be here and to get to know all of you! my inbox/messages are always open and iām always here to plot! a bit about me: i am a bit of a nerd and love pretty much everything between marvel, disney, star wars, crime shows, period dramas, and really anything else i can get nostalgic about. right now, as with a lot of people, iām obsessed with animal crossing and making my island all nice and pretty. recently iāve been on a period drama kick and found this rp as if it was fate and iām really excited to get writing! also i will probably bring in another character because i canāt help myself.
elitaās mother died when she was very young and all she has left to remember her with is memories told to her by her father and her reflection in the mirror because sheās often told she looks just like her. because of her fatherās place in court, she grew up there, often being told to be quiet and act ladylike even though she worked her way into obtaining books and reading what she could when she had the chance, reading beyond what is common for ladies of court to learn.
through minor arrangements and pushing of her father, she made acquaintance and quick friendship with natalya who sheās fiercely loyal to above anything that her father had wished. it ultimately became natural that she would become natās lady as they got older.
when it comes to war and politics of the land, sheās often voicing an opinion in favor of peace, sometimes out of turn in some opinions ( and much to the despair of her father who wanted to keep in good favor ). she often believes in an ideal world and one that she believes is possible in spite of what anything around her would have her believe otherwise. she felt relief when king dimitri didnāt want to continue in his fatherās footsteps.

Hii! Hello! Iām Bex and this is my little trash baby, NiccolĆ² deā Medici, the second son of the Duke of Florence. Iām so excited to write with you all so Iām just going to leave some info about my trash child under the cut along with some potential connections.
Niccolo is one of four children born of the Duke of Florence and his late wife; he has an older brother, a younger sister and the youngest was a brother who did not survive infancy.
Most idolise his older brother for his future as the next Duke but Niccolo has always been seen as the black sheep, mostly due to the strained relationship he has with his father. Heās very close with his siblings, especially his sister, and his mother gave him more love than he could have ever asked for but her death left a great hole in his life and pushed him and his father even further away from each other.
While his brother will eventually get the responsibility of the Dutchy, Niccolo has already inherited his control over the Medici bank. The bank has branches across Italy, two in France, one in Belgium and one in England but is mainly ran from Florence, all of which add to the Medici being one of the richest (if not THE richest) families in Europe.
During the war Niccolo was more than happy to fight and show that the Medici were loyal to their alliances but also to the people they supported, proving that they would not forget their humble beginnings too soon, but his fight was cut short after he received bad news from Florence.
At the age of twenty-seven Niccolo was married off to a Italian noble woman in a bid to aid her familyās fortune and to further the Medici line in return. They did not start off on the best of terms but slowly -Ā eventuallyĀ - the pair grew very fond of each other and Niccolo would have even gone as far as saying he might have even loved her, but their marriage was as turbulent as the great war itās self.Ā
After two years of marriage Niccolo received the news that his wife was with child and for a while it made the war almost bearable, but just less than eight months later he received further news that both mother and child had been lost. It was then that a further darkness seemed to descend upon him, leaving him to struggle in silence as he buries himself in his work and all that is for the good of the family.

Possible future betrothal - the death of Niccoloās wife means that he is still needs an heir. He isnāt fond of the idea of being forced into yet another marriage but needs must, he has a duty to his family and cannot bear to fail them.
EnemiesĀ & friendsĀ - great power comes with both great friends and great enemies. The Medici name has always been beneficial to him so it surely would be of some use to those who manage to make his weakened heart warm to them, but the name also brings those who arenāt fond of the familyās humble beginnings. heās a romanian nobleman who was raised primarily in russia, alongside the russian monarchs - yuriĀ in particular.
vale and yuri were super close pretty much all their lives - valerian preferred spending time in russia over in romania, mostly because of how much he loved yuri.
fought in the war alongside yuri as a sort of right hand man. this worked out great untilĀ valerian decided he wouldnāt follow along with a plan that put yuri in danger. he went off plan at the last moment without telling anyone, which resulted in yuri being badly injured and valerian captured by spain and held as a prisoner of war.
he was told yuri was dead by the spanish and underwent several years of torture and being kept as a political prisoner.
was only just released as aĀ āsymbol of peaceā by spain. heās pretty fucked up by all of this. tends to not trust anyone around him, is permanently injured and uses a cane, and always looks quite sad.
anyone who knew him before he was captured should so plot with me! vale was a brash, excitable, friendly sort before the war, and now heās pretty much the opposite of all those things.

this is my baby aileen emilia greer the crown princess of scotland. hereās some facts about her. aileen has been raised with love from her governesses, nannies, and her parents and most importantly her people. it took the king and queen awhile to aileen was raised to be a proper princess yet she was very involved with her country. she liked to deal with people directly; ailee often went out into the country side to speak with her people or play with the children. aileen was incredibly charming. she can come across as naive, but itās a trick. ailee has a way about her that can turn a bad situation into an alright one just by speaking about it. she is incredibly intelligent, loving to read and constantly staying update on the politics of her country and others. as a female monarch, aileen has been trained to be ready for men to try to walk over her, despite her noble blood. aileenās love for her people a country tops everything in her eyes. she is willing to do whatever she needs for her people, whether it be getting married to her betrothed to gain power or give herself up as bait during a war she is willing. scotland has and always will come first in her eyes.

Hereās my second trash child, HRH Dorothea (or Thea if she likes you) Princess of Norway!! Under the cut is general rambling about her along with potential conntections/plots. Plotting gives me LIFE so we should do some, right? Right??
As the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Norway Dorothea always felt like the youngest sibling in a very loving family. Of both of her parents she was closer to her mother, since her oldest sister had much to learn from their father Thea always found that their mother had a lot more time for her and she liked to take advantage of that. Regardless of favoritism she loved both of her parents greatly and the night that they were killed left the young girl distraught.Ā
Being only ten years old when her parents died meant that she struggled greatly with coming to terms with it; one night she had gone to bed feeling like all was right in the world, the next morning she awoke to the castle in a panic and her oldest sister being called Queen. For the next two years Thea couldnāt seem to shift the memory of what had happened that night. Many spoke of the young Princess becoming of age to marry but it was unthinkable, she hadnāt yet made peace with the tragedy and so couldnāt imagine leaving her home to never return so soon.
One thing Thea remembered her mother for was her stories about the world, about places the young Princess might be lucky enough to see one day, but especially about the Vatican state. It was something she had always wanted to see, to take a pilgrimage to such a holy place, and so it stood to reason that it was what she needed to do before she could continue on with her life. After much time was spent convincing the Queen and other influential figures at court that it would bring her peace and ensure relations between Norway and the Pope himself she was finally given permission to travel some months after her twelfth birthday. Unfortunately it was unknown to her at the time that she would not see her home again.
The Great War broke out not long after Theaās arrival at the Vatican. There was a brief hope of returning the Princess to Norway before she was away for too long but it was too much of a danger for her to travel so far, so she had no other choice but to stay. For the duration of the war Thea made the Vatican and the surrounding areas of Rome her home. She would meet with any nobles who managed to visit, had her moments of reflection that she had originally intended to travel for, and it felt as though she had seen every single gilded corner that the Vatican held.
Thirteen years later and the Vaticanās own Princess has finally found the chance to leave. Paris may not be Norway but she finally has a sense of freedom and a chance to find her place again, especially among her family and those who matter to her most.

Childhood friends - Thea may not have been home for a long time but not all of her memories are lost, to find any friends or acquaintances that she had thirteen years ago would be almost overwhelming to her and make her feel a little more at ease over being in yet another new place.
Acquaintances - during her time at the Vatican Thea met many people of noble and royal blood. It may have been a time of war but the Vatican would be seen as a place for sanctuary for anyone near by, a place to rest or to seek council from the Holy Father himself, and the Princess was asked to greet any and all who came. After all they may as well have used her to an advantage, right?
Possible future betrothed/past betrothed - Thea has been away for a long time but that surely didnāt put a stop to the natural flow of things. This could either mean that Thea finds out she has been betrothed in her absence or it could be a betrothal that was before the war and no longer stands, either way can you imagine the tension?
Lovers - since talks of her future marriage happened at a time where the young Thea was struggling to come to terms with the loss of her Parents she has grown somewhat against the idea of marriage. She fears loss now more than anything, she isnāt ready to commit to someone who might be taken from her too, so whatās to say she wont just find comfort somewhere outside of marriage? At least then she neednāt fear so much commitment.
Then of course there is room for endless friendship connections or even those she doesnāt get along with, either way I am ALWAYS up for plotting anything or just seeing where the threads take us. MORE TBA.
