This is my late participation in the #imperfectboss #thetruthrebellion ===== So here is why I don't answer to 'albino' or 'white girl' when it's yelled at me in the streets. I know that everyone who does it is not tryimg to be rude but the thing is from a very early age my mother had me understand that she gave me a name for a reason; to be answered and known. Yes and I know we're all woke now and socially aware and maybe you consider it a privilege to have 'black girl' or 'Indian girl' or whatever called after you in the streets as you sachet about your business. To which i say, big up yuh self. The thing is I don't believe my accestors fought as hard as they did so that I could be reduced to becomng known as one physical attribute. No I don't expect this to make anyone stop doing it because people do so love being contrary. Hey but it keeps getting asked so here you go mystery solved. Also, I didn't call myself an inspiration i promise. Honwestly i dont think i ever could bring myself to say such a thing about myself with the mountains of failures I'm still levelling out.😅 I'm just a woman tryong to do my best everyday just like you and who fails and succeeds at it at the flip of a coin. I also just happen to not be able to find you till you're standing like 3 inches from my nose aswell 😂 P.S. don't think that word is going to disappear from my vocabulary either. I don't believe in giving words power in that way. Again another personal philosophy but I deal in the language of words so i have a lot of philosophies reguarding them so we'll have a conversation about it someday maybe.

The amazing Ashley Beaudin @ashley.beaudin started the #ImperfectBoss movement, where entrepreneurs share ways they aren't the perfect people you might think they are. Remember that social media never shows the whole picture, no matter how transparent we try to be. As someone who teaches self-care and self-love, it sucks when I do things that I know way better than to do. But it happens. We're not perfect, we're all in progress. This sign shows just one of the ways I'm not. Also remember, as much as someone might inspire you with their business, style, lifestyle, etc. they're still just a human being. We all are. I have a confession......I hate writing. The computer has made me so lazy.... I dread writing anything down. Not to mention that I could never write in the first place. I need someone to come out with an online planner like the day planners that are out. Sign me up asap! #imperfectboss #mydesk

Ni-jo Castle Kyoto, Japan// Confession 2 of the #imperfectboss challenge is a bit ridiculous actually. I take a majority of my pictures with my Canon Rebel T3i with a 50mm Lens that has broken for over a year now and I have not even attempted to get it fixed or replace it yet because I made a deal with myself. If I could improve my photography with a broken lens than I could allow myself to get another lens. It is a crazy plan but it actually worked. I've traveled all over with this broken lens for a year it has a still given me some pretty good photos that I am proud of. Don't be afraid to push yourself. 📷 #thegramgang

My 1st confession for the #imperfectboss campaign going on now in #TheGramGang is that I'm not a boss or a small business owner at all...yet. But it is a plan of mine. The struggle is trying to find a way to keep up with all these amazing creators who make it look so easy. But reading through the hash tag is so inspiring. The power of understanding that being a boss is no easy task is truly inspiring. Thank you to all those who show vulnerability because it gives the rest of us strength 💪
