It had been 16 years, since Darth Vader's life had changed, since he had become Darth Vader. It was all he let himself be. Anything else he had been, was something that he did not acknowledge. It was a secret very few knew, and when anyone accidentally found out, they didn't live to tell about it. He had been sent to Alderaan to deal with Organa on something, and he remembered the last time he was here. It had been almost ten years ago. He hadn't forgotten what he had discovered here, but his self loathing and fear for what would happen if he did anything about it, had kept him from doing anything about it.
But, he was back in Alderaan now, and he had to see Bail. The moment he was close to the residence, he could tell that Bail's daughter was home. She had to be a teenager now. He still remembered that statue, she had shown him. Would she even remember him? It would probably be better, if she didn't?
The only thing he had to prove what he felt about it, was the force. But, he relied on the force. The force was the only part of his body that had never failed him. But, he did have business. Having one of the imperial soldiers knock, he waited for an answer. He did not knock on doors. He was a Sith Lord.
