f0x-inc said: I have another couple fanclasses to show you! The Imp - One who passively toys with (aspect) in service to something, or passively toys with something in service to (aspect). I'd describe them as the Heir but without any of the aspect internalized, just using it as a toy. The active counterpart to the Imp is the Czar - One who actively earns and enforces control over (aspect), or one who actively earns and enforces using (aspect). I'd love to see your thoughts and analyses on this!
Hoo boy, more of these, eh? Okay, I’m not gonna break them down aspect-by-aspect again, that would take too long. I’ll just give my overall thoughts on how such classes might work and what roles they could play.
So, the Czar sounds somewhat like a middle ground between a Witch and a Lord to me - a player who takes command over and/or using their aspect in a highly active manner. I’d expect them to at least try to be in charge of important matters among the team, possibly putting them at risk of alienating their teammates. This would be particularly true if the Lord has an aspect like Heart or Blood - nobody likes to be told what to feel about other people!
Now the Imp... You describe them as someone who “passively toys with” their aspect. In what manner? They just use it in frivolous ways and it causes things to happen they don’t intend? They’re just an incessant meddler? They sound like a milder version of a Bard - one who doesn’t actually try to get anything helpful done and it either helps or it doesn’t. Not sure how to feel about this class, honestly, as aside from an Imp of Blood being a decent auspictice for two players dealing with an abundance of animosity.
