It's a day with the possibility of answering asks! If your character was to come into guardianship of a child by accidental or otherwise means, how would they deal with it?

So I'm going to answer this for Orias as I feel he's probably the best with kids.

He'd likely panic at first having a child's well-being thrusted upon him, but he'd acclimate to it fairly well. The first thing he'd likely do in this situation is try to figure out the whereabouts of the child's extended family before he'd commit to taking care of the child long-term. I could see Orias being a good dad, he just needs to get his anxiety disorder straightened out.

But also if Orias ended up in the care of a child, I can't help but to see the conversation with Vinnie going like this:

28. Are/would your character's parents be proud of them?

Damascus? Definitely. He'd be proud of his son for doing the right thing. Chryopsiani? It's complicated.

11. Has your character's worst trauma already happened, or is the worst yet to come?

Orias remembers what hell looks like. Never again.

13. What's an easy way to ruin your character's mood?

Pedestrians walking right in front of her vehicle. Unfortunately for her, most settlements don't have infrastructure to compensate for automobiles, so this happens frequently.

16. Who is the most likely person to irritate your character?

That's a really good question. Atropos is a fairly patient person, but she'd likely get irritated by another deity if she ever met one.

Now that I think about it, she probably wouldn't like Vinnie's godmother.

8. Think about something traumatic that's happened to your character. How has it affected them?

His father's death is something that still greatly affects Vinnie in all aspects of his life. I can't say anything more than that because it becomes relevant within the next couple chapters of Log 2, but let's just say Vinnie would not be in the situation he's in currently if Regis Damascus was still alive.

9. Describe your character's teeth.

(Never did i think I would have to describe a character's TEETH)

6. Does your character get sick often?

Briar used to be pretty sick when Fulcanelli first took her in. Nobody tells you that becoming a Sigil Master can do some weird things to the body.

23. Describe your character in an unkind way, then describe them in a loving way.

Unkind: Vinnie is a naive brat who is extremely sheltered for his age; he's in for a rude awakening.

Kind: Vinnie is a curious fellow who wants to be taken seriously and not treated like a child.

15. Your character just woke up. What do they want right now?

14. Describe your character's favorite cup/glass/mug. If they don't have a specific one, make one up.
