I wished a lot more people watched Danny Phantom so I can make references out of the blue to it without people looking at me like I'm crazy or don't know what I'm talking about. You can do that with shows like Family guy or South Park because they're popular shows still on air, but you can't really do that with a show that's been off the air for 10+ years.
I mean, how cool would it be to say out loud "I'm going ghost!" before you go into your room and not show up again for a few hours. Or say "You gonna go fight some ghosts?" when someone asks to use the bathroom. Or better yet, Mr. Lancer's or Vlad's way of swearing: "Chicken Soup for the Soul!" "Prince and the Pauper!" "Oh, butter nuts!" "Oh, cheese logs."
Imagine how many people would be out of trouble or detention if people just used phrases like that to swear instead of saying the alternative. Or how much more fun your school day would be if you just randomly screamed you're going ghost. Like if you trip, drop something, or your pants fall down, you can just say "Sorry, these darn ghost powers are acting up again." Or, "Sorry I was late. The box ghost decided to show up again for the 3rd time this morning." It can be for either comedy or to get yourself out of an embarrassing situation.
I wish people could do that more but it seems like people think you're weird if you say you love a kids show that's been off the air for 11 years...
