Did someone say wasps?? Wasps. Seems someone's released a jar of angry wasps inside Daichi's office and hoo boy that is a LOT of wasps.
After the initial chaos of an orderly ITP evacuation, the office-home was sealed as Daichi and Kouhei called for the proper authorities. As is proper for Karasu service personnel, the exterminators showed up promptly and with all due fanfare; bright yellow and black uniforms, and a blaring trumpet call as they landed.
See, sudden infestations of stinging insects, magically toxic snakes, or unpleasantly large swarms of what-have-yous isĀ notĀ a terribly rare thing in Gensokyo, and the Tengu have developed an appropriate response. The six exterminators surrounded the home and closed their eyes. Some murmured, others sang, and one remained absolutely silent, but the magical energy in the air was palpable as they pulled the air from inside ITP headquarters out through every crack and crevice it could find. Quickly, any interlopers within the house would find very,Ā very,Ā little to breathe.
It was a tremendous strain to maintain the zero air-pressure zone, but the professionals were experts in their fields, and after a period of six minutes or so, they slowly allowed the wind to re-enter the building. It didnāt return with a whoosh, but just a slow influx that swept the dead insects, along with stray papers, towards the front door where one Karasu exterminator stood with a bag. Dead wasps were carried by the dozens towards the waiting receptacle. Once full, and the air restored to a normal pressure, the service Tengu bowed, collected their fee, and departed towards their own office to enjoy some well earned wasp fried rice for lunch.
