No rest for the staff at Wayne Medical. Today, reports have said that the residents in the hospital’s psychiatric center have been acting out more than usual. “We have the usual mix of patients.” Nurse Jackie Evans tells us. “Most of them are calm and quiet while others have been known to need a bit more attention. But even the calm ones have been on edge today.” Staff in the center have reported violent outbreaks, crazed laughter, and acts of vandalism that include drawing strange markings on the wall with their own, or their neighbor’s, blood. “I’m sorry, I have to go get my family.” Ken Walker, real estate agent in Arcanum, told us. He rushed inside the building before follow ups could be asked. Sources tell us that the Walker family women, wife Judy and daughter Allie, are still being treated for psychological problems. Medical staff are not sure what is causing the strange reactions in their patients but they continue to guarantee the safety and treatment of their patients.
