#image update

Coping with the new Tumblr Mobile image layout (outdated)

I updated my icon of wisp to have new colors and look a lil bit more like shes on the other side of a call.

Reblogs are appreciated, it helps keep me motivated.

Human’s are great with change, change is something we all resist, we like going in the same direction we’ve been going.  

And some changes are fine, but some are very much stupid.  

Case in point.  Google.  The king of search engines (or whatever), I’ve been using google images for years.  Nothing much has changed, maybe minor changes, but nothing major.  

Until now.  

I search for images every once in a while, and I’ll look at the small “thumbnail” then click on it to enlarge it and it will look like this.  A much larger picture that I can look at to see if that picture would be relevant to me.

I can rather understand why they did it (you can now scroll while seeing an image, and they did some other stuff to for shopping or whatever), and if it weren’t for 1 thing, i would be fine.  

but the size of the image is smaller.  

in the top image the flower picture is about 4 icons across.  The bottom picture is 3.  this means that if I am looking at a picture for detail, say see how many people are in a painting, I won’t be able to see it as easily, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t go to the website the picture is on very often, either the website is terrible, the picture is buried, or a combo or the two.  I image search to look at stuff, if I’m browsing, I’m using the web search.  

and now I’ll have to click through, using an extra step, and boo hiss I don’t like change.  maybe I’ll find another search engine
