Other ask for context!!

In the moodboards (?) it does look really similar to KIY, especially in the second one, but in the drawings I don’t see too many similarities!! The pattern on the clothes in the first picture is really distinct and the visible face? Mask? in the second one also differentiates enough!

I don’t know what color scheme you’re going for since the pictures are black and white, but I think you should be good :3

Sometimes OCs are just similar to characters, honestly!! I have an OC that at one point has a pretty similar story to Fuli the Rememberance from Honkai Star Rail and another that kinda looked like Duke Venomania once and can hypnotize too (even though I changed the appearance a lot since I made them), it’s fun to play around with and sometimes inspires Me even more :D

Hmmm it really depends on how you/your persona act(s) for the details!! Like in general I feel like The King in Yellow would dress up His darling in yellow and golden fabrics, and not cheap ones either…

But everything really lies in the details, like in My profile picture I’m not/My sona isn’t wearing overly fancy clothes and I’m attributing that to sensory issues because The King would still not want to bring discomfort to Us, and the yellow symbol is on there as a kind of thing binding Me to Him because I know well enough I’d be somewhat at risk of running away, especially since in My sona’s story I still basically participate in human life when I’m not in Carcosa,,,,

Maybe for the innocent part He’d make sure to protect you extra much? Could add the yellow symbol somewhere on there too, for the book’s 'bad omen' effect, so that those who endanger you directly endanger themselves as well. Not that I think He’d even let it get that far, though <3
