EVERYBODYU SSTOP HOLD ON
im wake. on tylenols. mtorin... hip lge g pain. irrelevant
know how AN instead of A when word start with vowel? (A cat. AN object)
not... "uni-"
AN unicorn.. AN university.. AN unicycle... does NOT sound right
A unicorn.. A ..university.. A unicycle...
applies to Y usually as far as I know too. (i mean, Y is like 50% a vowel the way I was taught back in elementary school but im american so...)
"A yellow paper" vs "AN yellow paper." See? doesnt work .
all along i thought it was because of the vowel, but no...really it's just convenience when it comes to mouth movement. Most vowels are clunky to say next to each other.
you fix your mouth to say "A object" out loud and it takes longer to say than "AN object" because it kind of slurs into "anObject" RIGHT?!?!?
YE and A are different fixings of your mouth... Same with Uni...
"aUniversity" "aUnicorn"
