It was like to hear a story told by a gentle narrator that leads you through wonders but also cruel and  terrible events. That's because you don't have to use always an harsh style to talk about certain situations; sometimes subtle words have even more power to hit hard. What do you think? 🤔 . You already know how much I love   Funko pops. She's very talented and, seeing her last works, she's getting even more and more accurate💕. . Happy Sunday readers 😍 How are you?? I hope you're enjoying the weekend! . One entire year passed before I read this book. I bought it immediately in July due to lots of beautiful (and concrete) reviews, but for this same hype I didn't read it. All the people were talking about Strange the Dreamer (here in the picture the italian edition published by ), and I decided to read something else. So I dove right in Sarah Maas' books, Red Rising series, Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse and so many other worlds and I couldn't find time for this duology, even if I was so curious about it😥. . So I decided to take it with me to the sea and I think I found the right moment: relax at the beach and no hype atmosphere around me. And guys, it was so good 😍 I fell in love with Lazlo Strange and his story since the beginning, and it was an amazing journey. This book is written in such a delicate style that it wasn't impossible not to adore it. . The world created by Laini Taylor was so vivid and real that it was easy to imagine it. The characters, even the secondary ones are a sort of heterogenous painting in which everyone has a precise voice, and I like it so much. The plot? Well written and interesting. Not too fast, but I appreciate it, it's like reading a sort of old tale. . And Lazlo. He's everything 💙 I liked him and his development, especially the fact he isn't so predictable as he could be. . Just one note that I didn't appreciate so much (❗attention, SPOILER) : the love story is too quick, but we know that what happens in dreams doesn't follow the same rules of reality, so 🤷‍♀️. . ❓ #qotd Have you read it? 💌 miglior lettura del 2018! ⠀ La prima settimana dell’anno sta per finire e per me è stata all’insegna dell’organizzazione e della preparazione al ritorno alla normalità. ⠀ È stata anche una settimana di bilanci e così eccomi qui con la miglior lettura fatta l’anno scorso (che strano dirlo già 😂). Per me è stata “Il sognatore” di Laini Taylor edito lainya. ⠀ Un romanzo che non ti dà scampo, ci si innamora subito dei personaggi, del loro mondo e sopratutto dei loro sogni. L’autrice ha creato una storia in cui perdersi e mi ha colpita subito.
