Since I have an office beside my room, I wasn’t supplied a teacher desk. So I brought this little gate-leg antique table to create a space for me to set my books and laptop as needed. I’ll probably never sit here, but it also gives a visual boundary away from my Keurig and fridge and microwave (not yet set up in this pic). Hopefully. I may need to put some velcro strips on the floor to further establish a boundary. I don’t have the real severe kiddos, so hopefully there won’t be a problem. Don’t know yet. I haven’t met them all yet! 

A former student sent me this books as a birthday gift a few years after his graduation. It originally belonged to his grandmother, and he wanted me to have as a thank you. It is one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received, and holds a special place in my home library.
