A reminder.
The Southern Hemisphere welcomes the shortest day of the year, with the least number of daylight hours, on Wednesday 21st June, also known as the Winter Solstice. It marks a turning point between winter and summer, the days will gradually become longer and the nights shorter moving forward. It comes as a timely reminder, to adjust your pool running times to 2-4 hours per day. I realise your swimming pool is probably not at the top of your mind in the midst of winter, however this small adjustment will both save you money on power and help maintain the pool water quality with some movement and circulation of the water. Stay tuned for more tips on caring for your pool during winter. Keep warm.
