OKAY i wasn’t initially going to do this meme bc everyone and their mother was already doing the same ships i have and i didn’t wanna be annoying, but then i woke up to @katzkinder telling me to do gluttony pair and it broke me

some things i want to expand upon:

they’re emotionally constipated motherfuckers but damnit if they aren’t close. its something they can’t help, a natural attraction that keeps them together. i think... even if they’re angry, even if they’re scared or frustrated, they still find their way back to each other. ildio doesn’t really understand why, because he’s never had an eve that he’s cared about; if you asked him, he probably wouldn’t even agree with the idea that he cares about nicco as much as he does. it was really a subconscious thing.

because of the above, this is also why pda and s*x is important between them. (censoring bc tumblr blahhh) though casual at first, it really does become one of the few really intimate things they like to share. i don’t think they’re a pairing that’s as close and... domestic as, say, sloth pair. but i do love the idea of them being so subconsciously attached to each other that it just sort of... happens. and they accept it. not without nicco being an awkward mess at first

“no real confession” is just as it sounds! i think because they’re both 1. emotionally weird, and 2. they just naturally let things happen, its just. not something they really have to talk about? especially because they both think the opposite of reality. nicco thinks ildio is tired of him and his advances, bc nicco actually really likes being his partner and wants to get to know him on a deeper level! and ildio thinks he thinks of him as just another eve. in reality, he doesn’t even realize how close he’s let himself get to the guy. he’s also just... very dense. *pats ildio’s head*
