Dj Dénouement Interview w/Noel Herbert of Illumanation [DIME Sessions Vol. 2] by MET Radio Studio 313b in Denver, Colorado presents the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME) and Met Media partnership.The fifth week of the DIME Sessions Vol. 2 student spotlight casts your attention to alternative indie rock band Illumanation. Self proclaimed as the 32nd flavor, they have captured my attention with their track Best of Luck featured on Vol. 2 of DIME Sessions. Illumanation’s Best of Luck prompted my audible memory recall to stray across the pond with a sound that is reminiscent of The Waterboys and Robbie Williams. Best of Luck presents a tale of a not so bittersweet send off to a love that appears to have been lost. Indicative of the forlorn alternative indie rock sounds of the 80’s with distinctive syncopated guitar riffs of Motown greats like Marvin Gaye, Illumanation’s own luck appears to be on a positive path. Illumanation consists of Noel Herbert (songwriter, vocals, guitar), Dennis Selleck (bass guitar), Tyler Weed (guitar), Chris Elwell (Lead Guitar)and Will Daniels (drums).
