[The video begins with a nervous-looking, snow-covered Illanero emerging from the Gym Mission chamber, and onto the battlefield. A woman in a puffy white coat approaches xem from the opposite side.

"I am Melony," she says, eyes narrowed. "As you can see, I've assembled a team of all ice-type Pokemon."

"Hihi!" Illanero says, though xyr enthusiasm sounded strained. "I'm Illanero! I'm a gym challenger!"

"You aren't sore from all those holes you fell into, are you?" Melony says, concern crossing her face for just a moment. "Even if you are, I'm not going to hold back!"

The video then cuts to after the battle.

Melony briefly looks despondent, but quickly musters a stern expression back onto her face as she approaches Illanero. "You...you're pretty good, huh?" She says. "Of course, seeing my Pokemon lose is sad, but to meet someone so young with such ability is quite grand."

"Yesyes!" Illanero said with true enthusiasm, xyr earlier anxiety gone, at least for now.

"My son could perhaps learn a thing or two from you," Melony says, before holding out something. "Here, take this sparkling Ice Badge!"

Illanero takes the badge, but tilts xyr head. "Why are you bringing your son up?"

"For some reason, I can't help but imagine him challenging you after you become the Champion," Melony says, beginning to smile. "I think you have what it takes. And if that time comes...give him a right thrashing, would you?"

"O...kok," Illanero says, suddenly looking uncomfortable again.

[The video begins with Illanero stepping towards the Circhester gym stadium, only for the sounds of an argument to become audible. A woman with a fluffy white jacket and a man with sunglasses were shouting at each other in front of the gym doors.

Eyes widening, Illanero dove into a nearby bush, xyr Zorua ears popping out of xyr illusion as xey listened in.

"I keep telling you, mom, I'm not taking over the gym!" the man says, his expression hard to read under his sunglasses.

"Gordie," the woman says with narrowed eyes. "Please listen to your mother. Chairman Rose-"

"I don't care what Rose thinks, Melony!" Gordie says. "You know as well as I do that I'm not good with losing in front of an audience! And you want me to be a gym leader? I can't do that!"

"Gordie, you know that I'm your biggest fan. I know you can do this," Melony says. "And it's not about what you want, it's about what's needed. Chairman Rose is saying that Circhester needs some change. And you being gym leader-"

"Isn't going to happen!" Gordie shouts. "End of story! Goodbye!"

As he stomps away, Melony sighs, shakes her head, and steps back into the gym.

Illanero breathes a sigh of relief, and scurries out of the bush, only to yelp as someone in a Team Yell outfit picks xem up by the scruff. She was recognizable from a previous video, as Decibel.

"I knew it," Decibel says, as Illanero frantically yips and tries to squirm free. "The up-and-coming challenger is a Zorua!"

"Now," she says, looking Illanero in the eyes. "If you don't want me to reveal your little secret, do as I say."

Illanero hesitates, then nods.

"You're about to fight Melony, right? Win. And then come back to the stadium at night, when no one else is around," Decibel says. "Got it?"

Illanero frantically nods, letting out a distressed whine.

"Good," Decibel says, dropping Illanero back into the bush xey were in before. "Don't be late."
