💓: who initiates most physical contact?
L would often casually touch Light – tug at the sleeve, tap on the shoulder, kiss his knuckles or even his feet, which are Light’s most sensitive part. He would never be the one kissing first because he likes to see Light being impatiently demanding until he gives in and kiss him first.
Light would always be the one kissing first or squeezing L’s ass teasingly -the latter happens a lot when they’re in public.
💙: who is more protective?
They are both protective, in their own ways. They always know when the other is worried or is dealing with a tough period, but it’s hard to find words of comfort for people who both are very independent and unwilling to show weakness. I like to think they would be caring through simple gestures like preparing the other’s favorite drink or suggesting something chill to do together and that help the other to relax a bit. Also Light would be the one going for hugs, he would hug L from behind or he would let him snuggling against his chest on the couch/bed. L would offer a massage instead, because he knows it helps Light to relax and loosen a bit until he starts sharing what’s going on with him.
💜: who said “i love you” first? or, if neither has said it yet, who is more likely to say it first?
“I love you” is a sentiment they would rather feel than expressing it verbally -mostly L, who I think would need more time to realize what that feeling is, that their connection isn’t only through the power of mind. L would accept and express the feeling only after realizing to be able to enjoy simple ordinary moments with Light. Light seems more emotionally driven and given his experiences he would be the one realizing first to be in love and so to say it out loud. And he would accept the fact L doesn’t say it back immediately, he knows too well feelings are hard to deal with.
