TV In Art Pixel Animation! (Piskel)
Sprinkles: Bark! Bark! (Okay, back to the recommended participants who didn't make it to Inanimate Insanity season 1, we have TV, which is the copied version of TV from the BFDIA series, which also doesn't have much to do with TV II, but the difference between one and the other is that this is a real TV, which has its own remote control and you can change channels, like the news, soccer matches and others!)

POV Scott Smajor in Ink in the Vase by @solsearchingnights Chapter 24
Excerpt from Chapter 24 - His Place and Mine
He heard Jimmy move again, and a blanket slid to the floor, in his view. “Oh?” A chuckle, deep and raspy. “I certainly don’t mind that.” Scott risked a glance up, eyes watering in the light. Jimmy was shirtless, hair and feathers askew. Somehow, the bags of exhaustion under his eyes paired perfectly with the thick scruff lining his chin. And his soft eyes were watching with such adoration that Scott lost his breath. “P– pretty.” He was a mess. Jimmy was just looking at him and he was out of his mind with affection.
Look I was sad the gifting of the carafe from Ink in the Vase didn't win okay?
@solsearchingnights I blame you for writing so good.
Have a sketchy ink sketch.
have you listened to Exeunt by the Oh Hellos? It reminds me of Ink in the Vase (one of my favorite fics by the way, I am definitely due for a reread)
Ooooo I might have to add that to the playlist!
I'm so glad you enjoy it! Might as well update the blog here: I promise, it's not abandoned. Updates were slowing down as my health got worse until we reached the hiatus it's on right now. I ended up having surgery to address the health issues, have been in a roller coaster of depressive episodes due to recovery, lost two beloved pets, quit my job, and my computer with chapter drafts broke (coolant pump is dead)..... and then all the bullshit with Xenbe came out.
So. All that being said, I'm writing the rest of it, I swear. I'm still figuring out how to rewrite parts of it to remove Xenbe's character (seriously considering taking my betas notes from waaayyyyy back that my TapL and Xenbe voices were too similar and giving my beloved Harvy the role). And it will involve rewriting, since I care about character voice and personality so I refuse to just replace names.
It's a lot. I'm going to return to it. I swear. And I'm so glad you enjoy it. <3

Excerpt from Ink in the Vase Chapter 28 Before I Wake by @solsearchingnights
It took a little more convincing, then Jimmy was chest deep in sea salt scented bubbles and steaming water. More importantly, Scott was leaned over the edge of the tub, gently rubbing his husband’s back.
“Just relax, Sunflower. I’ve got you.” He had a cup to pour water over Jimmy’s neck and shoulders. The hot water helped his fingers dance around feathers, rinsing away grime as Scott pulled it loose.

Chapter 17 - A Spark (Excerpts)
It was like he could feel the bone itself as he followed its shadow down to Scott’s wrist. It was a natural reflex to grasp Scott’s hand. The slight press of palms against one another, of fingers entwined, breathed life into the smoldering hope. Jimmy called out, just as searching and pleading as ever. Scott’s fingers curled around his canary’s hand.
---
And Scott knew he didn’t have the strength to make the trip again. This was as far as he could go. So he let himself trip over the final barrier between the ‘here’ and the ‘there’. His spark of determination blazed, just enough to feel his body, to feel the warmth of a hand in his. And as he expected to meet Death, Scott squeezed around that hand for dear life. And the hand squeezed back. And Scott was awake.
I have this friend (cough @solsearchingnights cough) that put out a call here.
And well, I just had to answer.
...
Well this won't do!
Hey SAArge, have a comfort fanartz
“Would you…” Scott’s voice was so soft, it barely had to trail off to become nothing. “Can we do this again?”
Jimmy chirped, surprise overruling his vocal chords.
“I think I missed that.” The tiniest laugh, the softest smile. Jimmy felt warm.
“I’d really like that, Scott.”
He hummed. Slowly, like he was reaching for smoke, Scott extended a hand. Jimmy held his breath, afraid to move. Afraid to ruin this.
Scott’s hand brushed over Jimmy’s. Didn’t rest, didn’t hold. But it was contact.
