its always interesting to me how with like. i guess id say younger online trans spaces. theres this heavy focus on top surgery and reducing the stigma around it, both for transmascs and transfems though in these spaces im not gonna pretend one doesnt heavily outweigh the other, but bottom surgery is always treated as something to be scared and disgusted by. even talking about genitals being changed due to hrt is too much for some people (worse towards transfems) and its like. idk its just always disappointing especially when you consider these are often self-proclaimed progressive spaces that include trans(masc) people so how must cis people see our bodies

I saw this after I just made a long post about this very topic and you are so right. The fixation on the sex act that made someone else pregnant is just odd. Like, it just reads as super immature to me. Obviously most couples you see on a daily basis have sex or have had sex before. It's just something that's normal. Getting weird about a couple getting excited about having a kid because it means they had sex is not only nonsensical and immature but - duh? Unless they're sex repulsed asexuals, yes, they're likely doing that all the time.
Trying for a baby, being pregnant, having kids - I don't care how mundane they are, it's something to be happy about! Proud of! Excited for! I think the people who say stuff like this must just be miserable because even if you don't want kids, you can still share someone else's joy, or at the very least congratulate them and move on.
And yeah, the final straw to me is using anything involving cum or crotch or other terminology to refer to BABIES. Children. Small humans. You look at them and can only think of their parents having sex? Seek help.
