In a way, monsters emerging from the Underground was akin to them arriving in another country. The world had changed so much since they were initially sealed, and things were almost unrecognizable. Both culturally, and physically. It was because of this, that monsters were adjusting. Learning-- and there were some people that wished to help with that endeavor. Something that until a few months ago, when they were still sealed beneath stone-- seemed an impossible prospect. Some monsters had been slower to move out of the Underground. There were a variety of reasons, but the ones the skeleton brothers had was simply nostalgia. That, and it was a pain to move all of the elder skeletons equipment out of the backroom. Not to mention, they had generally been busy trying to help everyone else out of their homes. Well, mostly Papyrus was helping. Sans on the other hand had been tasked with helping reroute the CORE’s energy to the nearest city. After all, no need to let a super powerful thermo energy plant go to waste. Once all of that was said and done, the two brothers found themselves standing in their new home-- a moving truck in the driveway piled high with their belongings, and things they’d gone and bought for their new place. Mainly Papyrus back and forth between it, carrying boxes. There was suppose to be someone coming to help, but might as well get a head start-- right?
“Lets see...” Currently, Sans was busying himself hooking up a lot of the wires that went to his equipment. A lot of the wires were scattered, messy like how he typically worked. There were also a few new machines, since he’d agreed to do a bit of research while up here. A kind of day job to keep him busy, now that he no longer needed to be a sentry. Realizing he needed a pair of wire cutters since some of the cables had frayed a bit-- he groggily got up to go in search of them. “’Wire’ were those things--? Coulda sworn I’d unpacked em already.”
