To say it was difficult to capture the homunculus was an understatement. Envy could transform into anything he wanted to after all, yet, for some reason he couldn’t. Envy had trouble finding out what exactly was going on, but he figured it had something to do with the cuff that had been snapped around his wrist.

He said that like it was easy thing to do. Trusting yourself some days could be one of hardest things to do. She marks the page in the book she had been reading while she took a break from her own paper work. Something told her that there might be more to his words then he meant. “Sir, I tend to only trust people when they give me reason to do so.” She looks over to where he sat at his desk. “You’d be surprise be how many people don’t give me a reason to trust them.”

     “colonel?”   in timid voice, she prompts the older man.  winry’s knees tremble slightly.  he seems so much more intimidating than his lieutenant.  (  miss riza had been so kind.  )   “you  ---  you’ll . . .”  little hands clench into fists as she finally finds her resolve.  her chin lifts, a fire lighting in the depths of her blue eyes.  “you’ll TAKE CARE of them, won’t you?”  she asks.  she can’t bear to think of losing edward and alphonse  ;  all of them have lost too much already.   //  @iiigniss​

      “ Yeah, it’d be a real shame t’ see all a’ this hard work go t’ waste. ”  A hopeful smile rests on his lips for once, a rare sight with all the fighting as of late. At least not everyone in the military were corrupt assholes willing to destroy a whole country – even if he did often butt heads with Colonel. Arms cross as he looks down at the map, plans secured into place by several marks across the parchment.  “ – we’re onto somthin’ this time, those bastards will never see this comin’. ”
