Just learned that there's a mercenary species called the "Gaztaks" that appear in the Meglos serial, might have the Doctor muse on that in IIID at some point.
God there are so many coincidences around this fic it's uncanny.

Going back to write the bit in IIID that I spent the most time on over the whole of the project is excruciatingly punishing work. On the one hand, I’m revising it with things that I’ve thought about, updated writing style and so on.
On the other, that’s what, four years of tweaking the text and “not quite right so I’ll fix that”s suddenly all come into question again.
Not to mention addressing not one, but two elephants in the room, so to speak. I only hope what I end up with is as satisfying as it was the last time I edited the draft properly.
Intended for the
usual
update day for IIID, but I’ve hit a snag because I’m renovating my room. It’ll be delayed for at least a week, I think, but I’m still glad I took this week to clear the place. Would be even further behind otherwise.
Okay, IIID’s back on track for a Sunday update... you know... to coincide with... her day.
