he cuts ace off, staring transfixed at him. did he really just say what he think he said? there can’t be that many chicks going by abi in this city, right? ( well, probably, but he’s already set in the idea that ace is talking about who he thinks he’s talking about. ) he seriously wants to think he’s wrong, but from the way he’s described her it can’t be anyone else.

“you done with that?” it may not even be his, that ceramic cup still warm from whatever fill it half-way to the top. but that’s where her cigarette butt goes. bye. see ya.

is this how friends treat each other? like disposable cups of coffee? maybe they aren’t friends. maybe it’s something BETTER suited for trash.

her body carries her towards his apartment without a second thought; a mindless decision driving her feet down the very familiar path that ended with him gone. whether it was a ruse, a trap, she couldn’t give less of a shit. all that she needed was ‘I’m home.’ thankful that she was already wandering the streets, she didn’t need to worry about Sam – it was Piper’s turn. despite knowing that the little girl would want to see her father, she hadn’t a doubt in her mind that it was best to give Ace time to adjust; to give answers. Lis hadn’t bothered knocking on the door, a hand was twisting the doorknob, his name leaving her lips as wild eyes skimmed the apartment. 

    “dude. you look like you’re about to fucking explode. how about taking a breath and saving me the fallout, alright?” if he wasn’t too comfortable where he is he’d be moving away, too. you know, out of the blast radius.
