So I attempted to tell my mother why the Sochi Olympics are an abomination that should never have been allowed to happen and she basically told me I need to get over it. Idk about you but I like my Olympics in places that don’t have genocidal anniversaries coming up, that don’t kill thousands of animals without regulation, that don’t have corrupt governments, that lgbt+ people aren’t systematically abused in, and preferably where the hotels have lobbies and usable tap water…just sayin’
