WARNING: THIS STORY IS ABOUT TWO CHARACTERS WHO DON'T CANONICALLY EXIST WITHIN THE WORLD OF LN, THEREFORE THEY ARE OC’S. DO NOT TAKE THEIR STORY AS PART OF THE GAME. THE LITTLE NIGHTMARES LORE IS CONFUSE AND STILL IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT, SO THE STORY OF MY OC'S MAY HAVE CHANGES IN THE FUTURE.

Phase 1:
Igor and Rose were two aristocratic brothers who lived in a huge mansion away from society with their strange and eccentric parents. His family had always been upper class, so they had never had to work or suffer. That is why they lived in a bubble of false happiness, while the outside world was collapsing because of strange forces. The parents of these two children strictly forbade them to leave the mansion, in order to prevent them from seeing that the world outside had been stained black. His mansion was located in the middle of a forest and near the ocean.
Rose was a very mature girl, with absolute clairvoyance, responsible, quiet and quite stubborn, she did not usually accept anyone's help. Igor, on the other hand, was an enthusiastic, curious and positive child who always avoided bad situations and lived in his own fantasy world. Igor harbored a great hidden power and his entire family already knew it, so they had him overprotected to prevent someone else from discovering his power and taking advantage of him.
Rose had already noticed for some time that her parents' behavior had changed, they acted strange, it seemed that they did not think clearly and on top of that they were clumsy and clueless. At first, the girl thought that it must be because of the new business they were up to and that is why they looked so tired, but it seemed that was unhingeding them. So she started investigating. After spying on her parents' conversations, she discovered that they were engaging in child trafficking. She also heard them say that they would use Igor as bait and that they would exploit his powers to help further the business. Rose was horrified and tried to leave, but she was discovered by her parents. They locked her in her room all day. When leaving her out, Rose went to the playground to try to tell the truth to Igor. Sneakily, she managed to tell him, but poor Igor was confused, she couldn't believe that his parents wanted to use him as a tool. Rose was determined to save her brother from her parents, but once outside the mansion, she couldn't ensure the survival of her or her brother, not to say they had never seen the outside. But anything was better than staying there with those two monsters.
Their parents were less human every day, they reached a point that they neglected even their own children, in addition to the house. Rose had noticed that everything had changed when her parents bought that television, since then they acted weird, like zombies. There came a point where her parents became other viewers more mesmerized by the static. Rose saw that as an opportunity to get away with her brother, but Igor innocently turned off the television. In that moment, the parents attacked the little boy. Rose pushed them away from Igor and then they attacked her. Igor had no choice but to use his powers and assassinate them. Igor's powers were mental (telekinesis, mental manipulation and control, telepathy and molecular immobilization). After that, they escaped into the forest.
Phase 2:
At every moment they felt that they were going to be attacked by something within that forest, it seemed that it was alive in some way. Since they left the mansion zone, everything had turned black and gloomy, unlike them who were colorful and full of life. The world beyond the walls of the Bloom mansion turned out to be worse than the little ones ever thought. It was a world of nightmares where there were no happy endings, not even for them.
After several years, they managed to survive and enter the Pale City due to ignorance. They barely made it to school, where they came across a plump boy crying armed with a lollipop. It did not turn out to be a threat, because the moment he saw them he ran away never to be seen again. Both brothers were about to leave the place, but Igor was caught by the porcelain bullies at the last moment. Rose stayed from the compound and intended to go back inside and get her brother out of there, but then, she was attracted by the sound of the static of an old and allegedly damaged television that was there. Rose approached and was kidnapped by The Thin Man through the screen. Igor ended up escaping thanks to him using his powers to destroy the bullies and psychically manipulating the teacher so that she would not cause him problems.
When Igor escaped from the school, he did not see anyone outside. His sister was not there. Only her pink hat remained. Poor Igor began to cry desperately, he was alone now. Out of nowhere, a static shadow from Rose appeared who gently comforted him. Igor was surprised to see those corporeal remains of her sister and despite knowing that it was not her, for some reason he felt safe next to her. Rose's shadow was acted as a guide for him to leave the Pale City alive and thus find his sister, even if this took him years.
Phase 3:
Rose's Part:
Rose was taken out of town into the woods next to another television. When she woke up, she did not understand why The Thin Man had left her free. It is assumed that no child leaves the clutches of The Thin Man or the Signal Tower alive. Maybe it was just a stroke of luck. The girl was very cold, but she could only think of her little brother, he's still trapped in that evil city. She took strength to go back in and get him out of there, but then she heard a voice that told her not to. That voice was that of a child about Igor's age who was carrying a bag on his head. The boy was up in a tree and he was watching her from there. The boy, Monkey, introduced himself and tried to convince Rose that if she entered the city again alone, she would die. So he offered to help her. Rose denied his help. Mono told her to tell him hers and his brother name in case he ever saw him.
Rose told him their names and left determined to find Igor. Rose walked in again and as Mono had predicted, the second time she wouldn't make it out alive. This time, the girl's stubbornness was her biggest mistake and the trigger to end her life. After a few days of wandering around town, hopping from house to house and running into more strange children, Rose gave up. She was very hungry and the cold had already penetrated her bones. So she sat under a portal while she watched as it didn't stop raining. The last thing she thought of was her brother: surely he wasn't even in that city anymore, he had probably left and would be looking for her outside or maybe he had tried to enter the Signal Tower and in that case he would already be dead. Rose died right there. Soon after, The Butler found her body and carried it to the Nest. There they made a "rag" doll with parts of Rose's body and gave it to the pretender.
Igor's part:
Igor spent a whole year inside the Pale City. He found some other living children, others dead and others eaten, but there came a point that this no longer affected him. Rose's shadow always kept him company and guide him but Igor hardened for him self cause the shadow couldn't speak, touch tangible objects or help him "physically". That was how Igor got used to the city, almost forgetting his true purpose. During that time, he learned to handle his powers well without exhausting himself so much and at the same time he learned to materialize them into a kind of energy. It didn't take much longer for him to get out and return to the forest next to Rose's shadow. Igor spent a few months there, surviving as best he could and enduring the incessant nightmares caused by the Tower.
Mono was quick to introduce himself to him. Igor was defensive and protective of Rose's shadow. Mono showed him his face so that Igor would calm down and then told him that he was like him. After a little chat between the children, Mono told him that he had been observing him for some days and he knew that he was Igor and he was looking for his sister Rose. Mono tells him that he had seen Rose and she denied him his help to re-enter the city. Igor saddened to know that and to think that maybe Rose was dead. Mono absorbed Rose's shadow and this enraged Igor who did not hesitate to attack him. Mono went flying through the air and luckily landed without much damage. Mono tells him that he knows where his sister is but Igor doesn't want to listen to him and attacks him again, but this time Mono defended himself and showed his incredible power. Igor relented and fell to the ground in terror of Mono's overwhelming power. The boy apologized to Igor and helped him up. After that, they spent a weeks together. Mono told him that by absorbing Rose's shadow, he knew perfectly well where the real one was. He told him that he could take him there using televisions as portals. The problem was that he could only send him there so possibly the return trip would have to be done on his own. Igor saw no inconvenience so he accepted without fear. Mono gave him some of his power to make the trip. Then told him that he would be waiting for his return and then they both will destroy the Signal Tower. Igor crossed the television without looking back. The truth was that Mono hadn't been sincere: he hadn't told Igor that his sister was dead or that he wasn't going to wait for him forever. When he find a good chance for accomplishing his goal he would with or without Igor.
Igor arrived at the Nest. He landed in a dark room with strange white gnomes hiding in the shadows. Igor noticed that they were harmless, so he asked them if they had seen his sister. Obviously the gnomes didn't speak, but he felt they understood him perfectly. Igor came out of the dark room and some gnomes started following him. In that mansion there was too much silence, it seemed that there was no one. He came to a disturbing room full of human-like dolls that appeared to be alive. He felt like he was going to be attacked by them at any moment just like the porcelain bullies at school. But luckily they were just dolls. He heard the door to the room open and he hid among the dolls. He noticed that some of the dolls smelled horrible, it was a mix between blood and expensive perfumes. That turned poor Igor's stomach. A tall, stooped man dressed as a butler and levitating came to order the dolls. He looked sad for some reason. It was then that Igor came out from between the dolls to attack him. The second the butler noticed him there was an equal clash of powers. Apparently both had too similar powers. Seeing this, they both stopped attacking each other. Igor looked at the man's face and for some reason it sounded familiar.
The butler approached to the blond boy and urged him to follow. Surprised, Igor followed him into another room. This one looked like a tea room filled wich one increasingly ugly dolls. The butler telepathically grabbed one of the dolls and gave it to the boy. Igor was horrified to see her, he noticed it immediately. That doll was Rose. Her hair, her skin, her blue eyes, even the way she dressed was the same. Igor released the wrist and vomited in great anguish and pain. Igor began to cry and hug his sister's corpse doll-shaped for a few minutes. The butler it seemed that understood his pain. After that I accompany him to the dark room in which he had appeared. Igor thanked him for helping him find his sister but he didn't understand whythat man had helped him. The butler spoke telepathically to the boy and he understood everything instantly. The man smiled and let him go. Igor was able to return for the same television since luckily he retained part of Mono's powers.
There was no one in the forest, Mono had left and had broken his promise to wait for him. But that didn't matter, he had his sister back and everything would be fine from now on. He tied Rose to her back and thus always carried her corpse.
"Don't worry, Rose. Mono is strong, he will be fine" he said smiling as he walked back into the forest.
