This is ‘THE CONCISE SUMMARY UPDATE No. 2
I could only finish Block Introductions of the first 2 blocks.
The First one took forever. I had to read it three times to break down what they were actually trying to say - in only a couple of pages. Hemingway App is gonna be terrified.
The Second one was short and brisk. But, better.
Overall, not a very good day, IGNOU-wise.

It was quite a debate in my head whether ‘The Concise Summary of The MEG I Year Syllabus’ should be handwritten or digital.
Pros
Handwritten - More attentive note-taking; Won’t have to waste printing paper (eco-friendly & I own loads of old empty books)
Digital - More editable, searchable and easily postable to the learning blog; Shareable by other people too;
Cons
Handwritten - Not editable if the organisation goes wrong.
Digital - May/Will have to print it out at some point for easy reference.
I settled on the digital version finally because it seemed like the saner option (will have to plant more trees yea or get that tablet I’ve wanted since forever) and it satisfies the two-part purpose of doing this.
To be able to know what is coming at me in the next study session and the rest of them for the year
To be able to search relevant online materials like videos or Wikipedia to roughly understand the topic before I risk falling asleep while reading the “exciting and incredibly written” study material.
NOTE:
A lot of videos on the playlist of Youtube that I mentioned in the previous post are missing and unorganized. Hence, I contacted IGNOU about the audio-video study material after being redirected by 6 different phone calls (including RC Panaji telling me that AV material doesn’t even exist), they sent me an email with attached catalogue of the AV material (CDs and DVDs). The cost the way I roughly calculated summed to be the same as that of the course fees for the entire year. So, I am probably opting out on that one.
