The response that the Trump staff had to the leaking of classified information on a group chat is comical, then pathetic. I can't believe the level of what seems to me to be an entitled incompetency.
CIA Director Ratcliffe and NID Director Gabbard informed the Senate Committee that no classified information was shared but apparently could not release the group text for review because it contiained classified information. This can't be both ways.
And Pete Hegseth stepped off a plane and reported that the reporter he gave classified information to is someone who is “deceitful and highly discredited [as a] so-called journalist who has made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again . . . This is a guy who peddles in garbage." If that's true, why was he part of the chat? WHY?
My word. The level of stupidity is unfathomable. Just admit your stupid mistake.
