Chapter 11 is October 2-3, actually! I know I did the first quidditch match early, because it was on September 24, but I just didn't want to wait for it. So the snippet I just posted is Valentine's day, which is obviously months away.

I’m a bit upset about Lily, because she obviously ignores her « feelings » about James. Of course he’s just casual sex to her, but she stills searches for James’eyes after saying yes. Cause she knows something is wrong.
Maybe I misread this, but I feel like James gave some heavy hints that he cared about her. I mean, just that goodnight kiss from the previous chapter… come on, this is not just about sex.
The right thing to do would have been to find James and tell him she was gonna say yes not to raise suspicions. But of course, it wouldn’t be fun if they were able to communicate properly 😁
My guesses for what’s coming :
James tries to make her jealous, dates another girl, and the day ends up as a disaster
Or for some reasons Lily finally sneaks out to find James and have some very smutty interactions (I feel like the whole « I agreed to come to Hogsmeade with some guy but I crave to shag you » is really a Jily classic 😁, and I can’t help thinking about ES by @missgryffin and EW by @tiffanytoms )

Keep in mind that, before his talk with Sirius, James probably wouldn't have admitted he wanted more than just a shag with her. (Probably. He would have at least denied it at first.) It's been building, but Ignite!James has not spent years pining over Lily. Keep in mind this line from Chapter 3: "I don't have to like you to want to shag you, Evans." Feeling is a development for both of them. They definitely care about each other as friend, but more than that? Scary territory there.
But I digress....
I love that you're comparing this to @missgryffin and @tiffanytoms . Both have stellar Hogsmeade date (ish) scenes. (Not going to lie, it took me a minute to remember that ES was more than a hand job in the back alley. That was the important part of that scene, right? And Sirius... sorry, off topic....)
I won't spoil how it's resolved (for now) but know that I'm aiming for an original twist to it. It'll be fun... or I'll have fun. Not sure how you'll feel. 😉

You know what I want though? What I really really really want? A main dish of Ignite Lily being jealous and pining and with a side of her kissing Anthony and not being able to stop thinking about James, and for dessert her being furious that she's jealous and pining and constantly thinking of him, because she doesn't want that. Unfortunately, I don't have any good news for you. I don't know when the update will go up. I've been writing a lot this month, and it's definitely starting to strain me a bit. October is almost over, and I may be taking a bit of a break in early November, at least from posting, so that writing doesn't feel quite so much like an obligation.
As far as Ignite specifically, I haven't done very much on the current chapter, so it may still be a bit. The word count is around 3k, but a bit rough. How about a sneak peek to tide you over until then?

I’m not “mad” at Lily, I’m just disappointed with her (as a 90s parent would say lol). Her situation with James is evolving and she has some baggage with him to unpack so it’s completely understandable that she’s not going to handle things perfectly or realize her feelings at the same time as James. The disappointment comes in that she’s being really amoral and ignoring the obvious: if she dates someone while shagging James, she’s cheating on them. Sure, 1 date isn’t a big deal but Anthony is gonna ask for a 2nd date. They’re gonna kiss and hold hands in the corridors, everyone is going to see them as an item. And it kinda seemed like Lily’s plan was just go along with it and shag James on the side😳

There's a moment at which keeping James on the side does become problematic, but they weren't anywhere near that point. One date with Anthony is not a problem. Two dates with Anthony is not a problem. The point at which (hypothetically) she and Anthony become an item rather than a boy and a girl going on a few dates is when it would be problematic to keep seeing James.
Lily would not have kept it up with James at that point. I'm sorry if it seemed that way, but (a) Lily doesn't see Anthony that way and isn't expecting this date to end up in more, and (b) that's far enough away that she hasn't had to consider that with him. Maybe this is just something you'll have to trust me on, but Ignite!Lily would have ended it with James before she and Anthony became anything real.
This ask comes off as sex shaming Lily, and while I hope that's not what you meant, I also do not want that to be a characterization of her. It's not amoral for a woman to have sex and to enjoy sex.
