Post-Altissia headcanons because I don't think it's explored a lot.

Uses a litany of mobility / visual aids. His seeing cane is retractable and attaches to his belt hoop/s. He is a very independent man & had to overcome needing these items, including unpacking some internalized ableism he wasn't aware he had. He doesn't like being led around unless it's via a Chocobro, and even then, he fights them on it. Prompto is the only one with a solid pass.

Learns braille alongside Prompto after Noctis goes into his Slumber. He prefers his gloves, but forsakes his left in order to read / but keeps his right. Depending on the day, this can change.

In the beginning, everything was foggy, milky. He eventually loses all sight, however. Light hurts him, something he finds ironic post-game, and doesn't go without some form of protection for his eyes.

His scarring fades into a more skin-neutral tone, but it always stays. He doesn't dislike the reminder, and instead has it as a source of pride for having stood beside his King.

In battle, he uses his allies as assistance to help locate an enemy. He doesn't mind being directed like this, and given the potency of his magic, it assists greatly in ending a tedious battle quick.
