Narrowly avoiding the destruction of Eggman's base, Tangle and Whisper are trapped in an Egg Prison Capsule with no way out. As they sit in the dark, one thought slowly but surely works its way into Tangle's mind...

Tangle's very down in the dumps today, and Whisper's going to do everything in her power to lift her newfound girlfriend's spirits.

Vanilla learns that Lanolin's been sleeping on the ground since the fall of Restoration HQ, and she's determined to give the Sheep at least ONE good night's rest. The biggest hurdle they'll have to get over though... is Lanolin herself. (This is just Chapter 1!)

During a battle with Dr. Eggman and faced with his latest invention, Lanolin's forced to make what she believes to be the ultimate sacrifice to save her friends, leaving Tangle and the others to pick up the pieces. However, it seems fate's not done with Lanolin yet; will her team be able to catch up with her, and will Lanolin survive this strange new world and what fate has in store for her?

It's time for dinner at Vanilla's! Lanolin arrives at Vanilla's, though her worries about whether she belongs are beginning to creep in. Someone will have to step in to stop her from making a mistake…
